Greene with an "E"
Ever wondered about the silent ‘E’ in Greene? Many do. But that ‘E’ is no accident; it’s our homage to Autie Greene, an integral part of our history.
Autie Greene used to own and farm this land for generations. Autie was a cousin of Michelle’s but more like a third grandfather. His dedication shaped our home, transforming it from land to haven.
Autie’s portrait hangs in our hall, and in many local bars, a nod to his lasting impact. Autie is pictured filling his water at the local river in Roadford under the watchful eye of our dog “Sport”.
Greene Acres encapsulates Autie’s spirit, his connection to the land, his work, and his bond with this place.
